The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in efficiently and cost-effectively managing warehouse operations. You will bring fresh ideas to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities include ensuring the smooth daily running of warehouse operations and maintaining the required service levels for customers at all times.
You will be responsible for
Ensuring the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods are performed correctly, meeting productivity targets and budget constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
Addressing challenges proactively.
Leading, developing, and fostering a positive work environment within your team.
You will need
Knowledge of warehouse operations within the FMCG distribution industry, including business and operational aspects of supervising a depot warehouse. Familiarity with transport functions would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to lead, motivate, and support your team of warehouse operatives. Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office, for reporting and disciplinary processes.
