The Fairlie Healthcare Group is a leading provider of high-quality care which was established in 1999. We specialise in caring for adults with neurological conditions, as well as patients with tracheostomies, and who require ventilator support.
We currently have three homes: Fairlie House in West Norwood with 45 beds, Highfield House in Purley with 45 beds, and Woodstown House in Banstead with 40 beds, which opened in April 2021. All three homes have achieved the highest rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we continually strive to maintain our ‘Outstanding’ rating.
Scope
As a Chef, you will deliver a high-quality service and comply with company standards. Our home is a 45-bed purpose-built centre providing specialist care to residents with a range of complex conditions.
We are currently looking for a Chef to join our Highfield House home located in Purley, and we offer a free minibus service to our staff for the start and end of your shift.
What will my duties be?
1. Providing a high-quality service within the agreed budget
2. Effective delivery of the food service and quality ordering
3. Reviewing and re-evaluating compliance with systems
4. Delivering a quality service and comply with company standards
5. Arranging wrongly delivered or sub-standard food to be returned and notified to the supplier
6. Arranging deliveries to be checked and signed for by the Manager or designate
Leadership
1. Inspiring and motivating the team to achieve a high-quality standard
2. Training and developing the team to improve standards
3. Praising and recognising good performance
What do I need to be successful?
For this role, you are required to have the following attributes:
1. You must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship (we are not accepting candidates on a student visa and skilled workers)
2. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef in a previous role
3. Previous leadership experience
