Overview
Our Center for Process Excellence team is on a mission to improve business outcomes and employee experiences by driving step-change improvements in critical enterprise processes, and the technology and analytics supporting these.
Role: Sr Director, Global Process Owner – Commercial
You will be responsible for transformative improvements in our strategic and tactical sales and marketing processes and systems. This involves understanding the current state, defining a future-state vision, and leading a cross-functional team to implement the change. The goal is to accelerate revenue growth and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the commercial teams. Success requires collaboration across divisions and influence in a global organization.
This role reports to the VP, Center for Process Excellence.
Responsibilities
1. Establish and lead a cross-functional team with expertise in business process management, mining, automation, documentation, data science, engineering, visualization, and related IT systems (e.g., CRM).
2. Collaborate with Executive Committee Sponsors, functional authorities, and team members to prioritize high-value improvement opportunities, and develop a vision and roadmap for execution.
3. Lead the implementation of improvements, guiding the team to excellence and supporting partners through change.
4. Enable sustained impact through metrics, communication, training, and documentation.
5. Provide transparency on progress and impact, engaging the executive team and partners in problem-solving.
6. Develop and attract top talent, strengthen process excellence capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and commercial excellence, focusing on process, systems, and analytics improvements.
* Proven success in large-scale programs across global organizations involving people, processes, data, and technology.
* Knowledge of business process modeling, process mining, and automation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Deep understanding of Lean principles and tools.
* Effective influencing skills and experience working across organizational boundaries to inspire change.
* Collaborative mindset, receptive to various viewpoints.
* Agile, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities and ambiguity.
* Results-driven with a high sense of urgency and a track record of delivering results ahead of schedule.
* Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
* Solid program management experience, especially in global contexts.
* Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executives.
* Experience leading multiple Agile/Scrum teams.
* Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com, Marketo, Symbio, and Celonis is a plus.
* Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science.
