Business Development role selling chemicals to the manufacturing sector in Ireland. Selling to large Bluechip organizations. OTE of up to £70,000 DOE THE COMPANY: Established over 50 years ago, our client is one of the market leaders in Chemical Manufacturing. They are innovative and invest heavily in R&D to ensure they maintain their position in the market and continue producing market-leading products. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Field Sales person to their well-established sales team, covering the Northern half of the country (Dublin across to Galway and everything above including Northern Ireland) THE ROLE: As the Account Manager for this company you will be responsible for selling an extensive range of chemical formulations such as chemical aids and additives. You will be selling into manufacturing plants for the Food & Beverage industry, Distilleries, Breweries, Dairy industry and Pharmaceutical industry. You will be selling to a range of decision-makers, including Plant Managers, Site Managers, Production Managers and Purchasing. This role will be heavily new business focussed although there will be some existing accounts to grow as part of the role. Full product training is provided. THE PERSON: Preferably you will be qualified to degree level, ideally specializing in Chemistry, Food Science, or similar disciplines. Ideally, you will have 3+ sales experience in a similar role. If you have experience selling other products or services to the Food & Beverage manufacturers, such as equipment, consumables, etc, this is also relevant experience.
