Discovery is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Post-Production Services Lead to support our post-production processes for WBD original productions. This role involves close collaboration with post-production teams to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality content delivery. Your Role Accountabilities - Assist in managing the editorial process from rough cut to final delivery. - Ensure efficient workflow and timeline adherence for multiple WBD original productionssimultaneously. - Collaborate with editors, sound mixers, colorists, and other post-production professionals tomaintain high-quality standards, ensure consistency and maximize efficiency. Technical Expertise - Assist WBD original production post-production team in ensuring all post-production equipment and software are up to date and functioning optimally. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in post-production technology, including media networking, cloud storage, collaborative remote editorial, etc. Technical Support - Provide general technical support to WBD original post-production teams, helping them navigate and utilize the studio's digital toolset and facilities. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of media networking systems and cloudstorage solutions. - Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing workflows. Post-Production Leadership - Introduce post-production teams to the studio's digital toolset. - Provide guidance and support to WBD original post-production teams, helping them navigate studio processes and tools. - Act as an ambassador for the studio, promoting best practices and studio standards.Team Leadership Lead and mentor post-production teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. - Support team members in developing their skills and advancing their careers. - Serve as a post-production management leader, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. Qualifications & Experience - Extensive experience in post-production, with a focus on WBD original productions. - Proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality content on time and within budget. - Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including editorial, sound, color, and visual effects. - Expertise in post-production software including Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, etc. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith creative teams. - Technical proficiency in post-production software and equipment, including media networking and cloud storage solutions. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Experience with file transfer tools, such as Lucid Link, Aspera, Signiant, Resilio, etc. Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
