What does this role involve?
Working as part of the security team, this role acts as a technical consultant providing best practice guidance on security, risk, compliance and governance across designs and implementations.
You will act as a technical Security SME for all areas of IT and Operations. Working with the business to raise awareness around all aspects of security and risk appetite.
You will assist IT operations and development with guidance on best practice and testing.
You will have previous experience of Microsoft security products such as Defender and Sentinel.
You will assist with technical compliance audits.
Who are we looking for?
Your hands-on experience in the architecture / design of complex IT solutions, with a focus on security controls and compliance, will provide a solid foundation for success in this role.
Your specific knowledge of how medium to large, regulated enterprises operate from a technical perspective will provide context for the environment you will be operating in.
Your commercial experience in cloud migration and critical infrastructure, will also be invaluable and allow you to be productive right from the start of your new role.
Your ability to review security issues and find both short and long-term solutions or options, will be highly valuable to the success of this role.
To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
