German (MFL) Teacher - Outstanding school Lytham
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated German (MFL) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school team in Lytham (WC 28.04.2025). In this role, you will deliver high-quality lessons, inspire students to engage with German, and support their academic development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a love for the subject while providing a strong foundation for students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging German lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
* Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams, providing additional resources and guidance where needed.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the German curriculum.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in MFL (German) or a related field.
* Experience teaching German at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to adapt lessons for students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
* A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to student success.
