Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Waiting List Coordinator with the management of the Oral Health Service waiting list ensuring achievement of national and local targets set by the Scottish Government.
2. Responsible for the safe and timely booking of patients for all dental specialties, including arranging pre-admission clinics.
3. Provide an efficient booking service for the patient to support the patient pathway.
4. Manage referrals to clinics providing additional capacity in line with agreed protocols.
5. Prompt and accurate input of patient details to the Oral Health Service waiting lists and booking of patient appointments.
6. Ensure confirmation of booking to reduce DNA rate and maximize clinic utilization.
