Our client, a small and welcoming specialist service supporting adults with learning disabilities and related conditions, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join their dedicated team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a specialist setting. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will support residents' complex needs while promoting their well-being, independence, and dignity. The role involves a rotation of day and night shifts, ensuring continuity of care and a consistent, supportive environment.
What We’re Looking For
RNLD or RMN qualification (RGNs with relevant experience in learning disabilities or Mental Health are welcomed to apply).
A compassionate, person-centred approach, with a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in managing complex care needs.
Commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care, ensuring the needs of each resident are met.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans.
Administer medication safely and effectively, following best practice guidelines.
Encourage independence and empower residents, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support workers, and families.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promoting best practices in learning disability care.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
