This large public sector organisation has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join them on a full-time basis, working as part of a busy payroll team. The post holder will manage their own portfolio, processing payroll from start to finish using Sage Payroll.
Your new role
All candidates are expected to have a good understanding of UK payroll legislation and calculations, including National Insurance contributions, PAYE tax, and pensions in relation to payroll queries.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous UK payroll experience
* Excellent Excel skills
* Great communicator
* Able to work on your own initiative, accurately, flexibly, and under pressure to achieve the required deadlines
