Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9mill of investment going into the company growth into various export markets they are looking for a Procurement Team Leader to join their Procurement team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Leading and overseeing the procurement activities of direct and indirect consumables, raw materials and maintenance stores
Liaising with Production, Engineering & Warehouse managers regarding production changes impacting the supply chain processes
Providing monthly & quarterly forecast reports, financial reports & price changes
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and lead improvement initiatives
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
MCIPS qualification desirable
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, production environments
Strong supplier and customer relationship skills,
Strong business analysis skills, process improvement & organisational skills
Strong knowledge of ERP Systems
