Student Placement Administrator Location:Northampton Salary: From £23,605 - £24,529 Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Office Based. We are recruiting for a Student Placement Administrator to join our team to provide coordinated support to our Practice Education Team. The Role: Working with Universities, Wards and Practice Educators to engage with internal and external practice development staff, educators and clinicians in Student Placements and onboard Students to support a Placement in STAH. Provide statistical and financial information on the placements provision to ensure St Andrews Healthcare receives a cost effective, high quality provision that adheres to University and NHS placement agreements and supports Education strategy. Responsibilities include: Provide administrative support for all Clinical Student Placements, to include but not exhaustive: Onboarding, contractual paperwork, liaison with Wards, Students, Universities and Practice Educators, IT, security and facilitators. All letters, reports, minutes and databases to be produced in line with Charity guidelines using Microsoft and other relevant packages. Provide administrative support to the Practice Educators in the provision of Practice Educator and Assessor workshops. Ensure all student activity is recorded and maintained on the student database. Utilise database to produce statistics of placements and reporting as required. Ensure all Student activity is reflected and audited on the Student Finance Portal in line with set deadlines. Highlight any discrepancies with the Practice Education Lead. Receive all queries into the team and action in a timely manner or signpost to the relevant staff member to action. Establish and maintain guide notes for all processes used. Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development Directorate / Hospital including cross over for administrative team members Work in line with St Andrews Healthcare policies and procedures including confidentiality and security of data, at all times and maintain a safe and health work environment. Maintain intranet pages related to the team. Audit and update all documentation used in the Placements process. About you: We are looking for an experienced administrator with strong knowledge of Databases, Excel and reporting. You will need the ability to extract, interpret and present financial and statistical information. You will have experience building professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have an ability to work collaboratively across L&D and the wider Charity. You should be fluent in the use of all Microsoft applications and have clear communication skills. Experience in Education or Healthcare settings would be advantageous but not essential.
