Hourly Rate: £14.75 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 33 hours per week on a rolling rota, including some weekend shifts
Shift Pattern: 20:00 - 08:00

Your Role as a Night Senior Care Assistant
As a Senior Care Assistant on our night team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents during overnight hours. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and Supporting Night Staff: Supervising the care team during night shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and providing guidance and support where needed.
Delivering Personalised Care: Assisting residents with personal care needs, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility, while respecting their dignity and preferences.
Monitoring Resident Well-being: Conducting regular checks throughout the night to ensure residents are comfortable, safe, and receiving the appropriate care.
Administrative Duties: Maintaining accurate records, including care plans and incident reports, and liaising with healthcare professionals as required.
Team Development: Assisting in the training and development of team members, conducting appraisals, and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Emergency Response: Managing any emergencies calmly and efficiently, ensuring the safety of residents and staff at all times.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. What We Are Looking For:
Proven Experience: Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a care home or similar setting is essential.
Leadership Skills: The ability to lead a team confidently, provide support under pressure, and foster a positive working environment.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in record-keeping and using modern care technologies.
Empathy and Professionalism: A warm, approachable demeanor paired with a professional attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues.
Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts on a rolling rota, including weekends, to meet the needs of our residents.
