To support its growth and meet the rising demand, we are looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer who shares our passion for Speed, Quality & Innovation The Role: As a Field Service Engineer specializing in Hydraulic Quick Couplers, you'll be an essential part of our team, responsible for ensuring our customers have a seamless experience with our products. This dynamic role is primarily field-based, with occasional work at our East Yorkshire base, amounting to 20-40% of your week, depending on workload. Your responsibilities will include: Enhancing Customer Experience: - Collaborate with customers to assess their excavator models and optimize Quick Coupler installations for maximum efficiency. - Conduct trial fitments of couplers both in workshops and on-site, ensuring a perfect match for each customer's needs. Technical Support: - Provide expert technical assistance, including on-site troubleshooting and repair visits, to address any customer issues promptly. Fitting Guide Development: - Contribute to the creation of comprehensive fitting guides, including written instructions and video content, to empower our customers and make their installation process as smooth as possible. Working Hours: - Enjoy a work-life balance with our Monday to Friday schedule, from 07:30 to 16:30, totalling 42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. - Overtime opportunities are available after working 42.5hrs per week and compensated at 1.5x (basic overtime rate) and 2x (After 8pm & Sunday), Compensation Package: - Competitive annual salary ranging from £37,570 to £44,200 (£17.00 to £20.00 per hour) dependant on experience. - Additional benefits include: - Quarterly profit share bonus. - 21 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays (with increases for long service). - On-call payments. - Night out payments. - Company-provided van and fuel card. - Company mobile phone and laptop. - Company pension plan. Your Profile: Skills & Experience: - Self-motivated and committed to seeing tasks through to completion. - Passionate about delivering top-quality workmanship consistently. - Proficient in understanding and working with various plant machinery, especially excavators up to 35T. - Knowledgeable about hydraulic and basic electrical circuits. - Excellent communication skills, both internally and when interacting with customers. - Understanding of site Health and Safety practices. - Basic IT skills, including email, service reports, and Excel data entry. Desired Qualifications: - Valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. - Possession of a valid CSCS card or equivalent. - Valid CPCS card (10T & Below/10T & Above) or equivalent tickets accepted. - Apprenticeship trained or equivalent hands-on experience (minimum of 5 year's experience). - Level 3 qualification in Heavy Plant maintenance.
