The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
* Offering emergency response to production machinery issues
* Executing planned maintenance tasks as scheduled
* Contributing ideas for enhancing engineering operations
* Ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation
* Collaborating with site management to optimise machine usage
The desired outcomes include:
* Meeting the 90% target for Planned Maintenance Schedule adherence
* Completing log sheets accurately and in full
* Reducing unplanned machine downtime by 10% compared to the previous year
Applicants should hold relevant qualifications such as:
* HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred)
* Time served recognised apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance
* NVQ level 3 in maintenance operations or equivalent
Key skills required include:
* Knowledge of Motors/Drives
* Understanding of PLC's
* Familiarity with Gearbox/transmissions
