We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The role will be full time on a permanent contract, within a fast-paced environment and will be site based throughout the North East England. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for a project in Sunderland.
Duties include:
* Planning and managing the project from initiation to completion.
* Managing all labour and subcontractors on-site.
* Reviewing and monitoring project progress to ensure timelines are met.
* Attending site meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and address issues.
* Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
* Assessing and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Completing all required site forms on a daily and weekly basis.
* Ensuring quality control measures are effectively implemented.
* Maintaining safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Updating and managing the QA process and the Golden Thread documentation.
Requirements and skills:
* SMSTS qualification.
* 3-Day First Aid at Work certification.
* CSCS Gold or Black Card.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Background with a main contractor.
* Experience in steel and cladding projects.
* Knowledge of BSR, PCSA, and Golden Thread processes.
* Proven experience as a construction project manager.
* In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
* Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with construction/project management software.
* Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* A team player with strong leadership abilities.
