You will be crucial in generating new business opportunities, working closely with the Head of Business Development to identify and engage prospective customers. This role is designed for someone eager to jumpstart their career in sales within the tech industry and who shares our passion for innovation and excellence. Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target accounts. Utilise various prospecting methods including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking to generate new business leads. Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives. Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our solutions. Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demos for the Head of Business Development and the wider sales team with qualified prospects. Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress within our CRM system. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine outreach strategies. Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of campaigns and messaging. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Share insights with the team to improve our offerings and sales approach. Knowledge Skills & Abilities Experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in the software or technology industry. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with proficiency in using LinkedIn and other social media platforms for prospecting. High level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
