Reed Accountancy have recently partnered up with an exciting SME based in Bootle who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The right candidate will possess all the experience listed below and will be a self-starter who works well as part of a small team and alone. Responsibilities: Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets. Create financial and inventory reports. Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies. Run and update databases. Develop and streamline operational efficiencies. Contact delinquent accounts. Stay current with all regulations, requirements, and laws. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors This role will require ad hoc Purchasing and Admin duties The Person Ideally AAT PQ but open to QBE 3-5 years’ experience in accounting roles Experience with Xero accounting program If you are on the market and looking for your next role don’t hesitate to get in touch by following the steps to apply.
