Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Final Assembly Supervisor for our client based in Ballynahinch.
Role: Final Assembly Supervisor
Location: Ballynahinch
Rate of pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience + 50p per hour timekeeping bonus on completion of 40 hpw
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm Friday (40hpw)
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Oversee final assembly process
* Job planning with existing team
* Work closely with suppliers, operators and other internal departments to manage stock
* Oversee quality tests, pre dispatch
* Implementation of LEAN tools and principles
* Stock control and administration.
Essential criteria:
* Good communication and planning skills
* Microsoft Word, Excel and general PC functions
* Engineering and/or manufacturing skills
* Full UK driving license or equivalent
* Forklift truck experience
Desirable Experience:
* Engineering qualification
* Previous experience of leadership / management
* Knowledge of LEAN principles
* Previous experience in a similar environment, however additional training will be provided
