We are seeking a Project Controller to provide maternity cover for one of our team, on an 18 month fixed term contract. You'll be part of our highly competent and passionate team, helping our business to maintain accurate and precise data and support our colleagues in delivering their technical projects from a commercial perspective. Our Opportunity : As a Project Controller, you’ll join a growing team of support staff who love to work with our Project Managers and Technical Leads to guide them through the financial and reporting issues that occur during their technical delivery of projects. Our diverse and creative team are passionate about ensuring that our financial data is accurate and auditable and that our Technical Teams have regular support and guidance. Based in our Loughborough office, you’ll be given real responsibility from day one, supporting Project Managers and technical experts across our business helping deliver career and industry-defining projects from a commercial perspective. You will work closely with a Project Administrator to provide end to end support from creation of project to delivery of project and all commercial aspects in between. Our role is an exciting and varied one, giving you opportunity to: Understand DNV’s systems (including Oracle, CRM systems, etc) Carry out regular portfolio reviews Deal with financial issues as they arise and carry out analysis of project data Maintain Monthly closing checklist Support the Accounts Receivable process Work with our Business Controllers to keep them informed of issues that impact on the results of your portfolio of projects You’ll be stretched but always supported, so don’t worry if the Energy industry or some of the commercial terminology is currently unfamiliar to you, we’ll teach you all you need to know.
