Job Description
Firmwide Risk Reporting and Middle Office (RRMO) is a group within Risk Management & Compliance. Risk Reporting provides select Firmwide and Wholesale Internal and Regulatory reporting to manage risk through changing market conditions and in support of regulatory requirements. Risk Middle Office creates and controls key risk data focused predominantly around Market, Credit, Country, and Principal Risk.
As a Report and Citizen Developer Tool Governance - Associate in the Risk Reporting & Middle Office Governance team, you will be responsible for a variety of key activities that support the global organization such as Report, Intelligent Solution (IS) and User Tool (UT) governance and reporting, action plan remediation, and communications. As an Associate within the RRMO Governance team, you will have the opportunity to get exposure to many people across the organization, work independently, and own the processes to make improvements.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support Report, Intelligent Solutions, and User Tools BAU governance process
2. Review and approve changes to reports, ISs, and UTs metadata
3. Prepare for and lead RRMO report governance calls (e.g., review new reports and decommission requests, prepare agenda, distribute minutes after the call)
4. Perform governance control validations for RRMO on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure compliance with RRMO and firmwide policies
5. Assist in control action plan remediation and help drive the process for Report, Intelligent Solution, and User Tool recertifications across the department
6. Support the development of management reporting and presentations for senior management
7. Add value by driving change through the improvement of existing processes and applications to increase efficiency
8. Lead the execution of special governance projects from end to end, assembling working groups to drive successful outcomes
9. Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
10. Conduct ad hoc analysis and research as requested
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1. Experience in project management, business management, governance, control management, or data analysis
2. Ability to work independently meeting deadlines, prioritize multiple workstreams, and complete tasks with minimal supervision
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
4. Comfort with working on projects where the path forward is not always clear
5. Proficiency in Microsoft products, including PowerPoint and Excel (formulas, pivots, graphs, formatting)
6. Confidence in working with and analyzing large data sets
7. Strong team player who can thrive in a matrix environment and build partnerships with colleagues at various levels across multiple locations
8. Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize information and report to senior management in a clear, structured, and confident manner
10. Curiosity and drive to make things better and challenge the status quo
11. BA/BS degree required
12. Knowledge of Intelligent Solution technologies (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau)
