Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM / Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

A well-established manufacturer specializing in metal pressings, springs, wireforms, welded assemblies, and engineered parts is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for an experienced welder looking for a stable role with the potential for long-term growth.
Job Description
As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding high-quality metal parts using MIG and TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel and aluminum, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and within tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities :
1. MIG Welding:
2. Perform MIG welding on mild steel parts (3mm-6mm thickness).
3. Ensure all welds are of high quality, free from defects, and meet engineering specifications.
4. TIG Welding:
5. Weld aluminum parts (3mm-3.5mm thickness) using TIG welding techniques.
6. Work with precision and attention to detail to achieve clean and strong welds.
7. Quality Control:
8. Inspect finished parts for weld quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
9. Follow all quality control processes to ensure the end product meets both client and company standards.
10. Maintenance and Safety:
11. Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
12. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the workplace, ensuring a safe working environment.
13. Collaboration and Communication:
14. Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
15. Communicate any challenges or issues with your supervisor in a timely and effective manner.
Key Requirements:
16. Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with mild steel and aluminum
17. Excellent welding skills with the ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
18. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
19. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
20. Good communication and teamwork skills.
21. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Additional Information:
22. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent role after a successful probationary period.
23. Competitive pay based on experience, with potential for overtime.
