Full Job Description:
As a Street Lighting Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining street lighting systems across North Wales. Working across different outdoor sites, you'll play a crucial role in improving public lighting infrastructure. Your experience in street lighting or outdoor electrical systems will enable you to work independently and deliver high-quality results within scheduled timeframes.
Responsibilities & Activities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair street lighting, traffic signals, and other outdoor electrical systems.
2. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure lighting systems comply with safety regulations.
3. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to maintain effective operation of lighting systems.
4. Collaborate with site managers and local authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
5. Complete job reports and maintain accurate records of work conducted.
6. Adhere to Health and Safety standards and ensure work areas are safe and organised.
7. Respond to emergency call-outs as required, providing quick and efficient solutions.
8. Ensure effective use of tools and equipment to maintain safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
1. ECS Gold Card or equivalent (mandatory).
2. Proven experience working with street lighting or outdoor electrical systems.
3. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in outdoor construction settings.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on contracting hours.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
6. Full UK driving license required.
