Maintenance Technician Location: Droitwich Spa Salary: £30,000 to £37,500 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm Friday: 8am – 1:30pm Our client, a well-established Fastener Manufacturer and Distributor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will support the production department by performing both preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal machine downtime. Requirements: Full UK working rights ( no sponsorship available ). Mechanical maintenance qualifications and previous machinery maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems. Experience with fault detection and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery/equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine preventative maintenance (PM) programmes in collaboration with departmental supervisors. Perform emergency repairs on plant and equipment as a priority. Conduct general machining, fitting, and design work as required. Maintain accurate records of PM activities within the company's CMMS system. Communicate all problems and work-related issues with supervisors. Assist in project work to improve production plant, equipment, and operational methods. Identify cost-saving opportunities, quality issues, production concerns, and health & safety risks.
