This could be an ideal move for you The role As HR Officer you will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager across all functions and ensuring all HR processes align with wider company strategies. This role plays a key part in creating a positive working environment for all employees. The main responsibilities Keep employee information current and aligned with legal standards to enable smooth interdepartmental communication. Respond to day-to-day staff queries, delivering clear and timely information. Monitor and log employee attendance, ensuring adherence to organizational timekeeping and absence policies. Actively contribute to recruitment efforts by writing job ads and candidate briefs, posting roles, and helping identify suitable applicants. Manage the Apprenticeship Programme and coordinate school outreach efforts alongside MEGA. Plan and arrange staff training programs, support onboarding and internal learning sessions, and maintain accurate training documentation. Assist with grievance and disciplinary processes, ensuring they align with internal procedures. Work closely with managers to help them interpret and apply HR policies, as well as keep up with changes in employment law. Support and contribute to initiatives that enhance staff engagement, such as health and wellbeing programs, benefit packages, and incentive plans. Collaborate with the HR Manager on workforce planning to address immediate and future staffing, development, and benefits needs. Help implement performance review systems, guide managers on tracking employee growth, and support goal-setting activities. Work with leaders to drive continuous improvement projects with an emphasis on HR-related goals that align with broader business objectives. Review and refine existing HR policies and participate in developing new policies to better meet the organization's evolving requirements. Keep the HR Manager informed of significant updates, prepare reports for leadership, and offer guidance to ensure legal compliance. Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or members of Senior Management.
