Job Description: The Security Monitor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard classified information and maintain effective control of uncleared personnel on the site. This the position has a combination of escorting, general maintenance, and materiel movement duties. Regulates access to classified facilities and information by performing a variety of duties: - Provide effective access controls and physical security as required - Provide security support in both office and/or project (outdoor) work environments - Maintain compliance with all applicable security policies, procedures, and global standards - Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed - Assist with checking in uncleared personnel to site and ensuring that they are badged correctly. - Visually observe and direct the activities of visitors and uncleared workers under escort to ensure they do not have access to protected information and systems. - Prevent prohibited items from entering the facility. - Ensure that all protected material is stored away or covered and properly announce when visitors are entering the facility and area where work is to be conducted. - Ensure all visitors and uncleared workers are escorted out of the facility at the end of a workday or task. - Work as part of a larger FLUOR team at site - Other duties as assigned Job ID: 147205BR City: Harrogate State: North Yorkshire Country: United Kingdom We are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
