Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Therapy Services team at Warrington Hospital. This role involves delivering high-quality therapy services to patients across various acute settings, ensuring optimal recovery and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans for patients in acute care settings.
* Provide interventions to address physical, functional, and cognitive needs, supporting rehabilitation and recovery.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and ensure timely discharge planning.
* Contribute to service improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date clinical records.
* Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and quality of life.
Key Requirements:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
Minimum 6 months NHS experience in acute therapy services
Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering patient-centered care
