Responsibilities: Lead and drive strategic business development efforts to expand the company’s portfolio of clients in pharmaceutical CDMO services, focusing on market segments such as small molecule APIs, biologics, and advanced dosage forms. Develop and execute growth strategies to identify, target, and secure high-value partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies, enhancing the company’s market position in Britain, Ireland, and across Europe. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary liaison to communicate and demonstrate the full value of the company’s R&D, manufacturing, and development capabilities to prospective and existing partners. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to align client needs with the company’s capabilities, ensuring seamless project integration and high client satisfaction. Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging client needs, utilizing insights to adapt and refine the company’s business development strategies. Lead contract negotiations and manage key accounts, ensuring that project terms, timelines, and deliverables meet both client and company objectives while maintaining profitability. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand brand visibility, promote service offerings, and network with potential clients and industry stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior members of the business development team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence in client engagement and project management. Requirements: Proven track record in selling services to biotech and major pharmaceutical clients in the UK and Ireland Good Knowledge of CMC, cGMP, API, and the drug development process for small molecules. 7 Years experience in Business Development or Sales within the CDMO Sector Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, business, or a related field ; an advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent) is often preferred.
