We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead the HR and Compliance function of a busy and successful prep school in Richmond.
Our client is offering flexible working hours and a hybrid model during school holidays
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the school’s HR and Compliance functions, ensuring full compliance with guidelines and regulations from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and other government bodies.
* Provide a comprehensive, confidential HR and Safer Recruiting service to the school.
* Advise the Head and Senior Management Team on regulatory compliance and legal matters.
* Maintain clear, accurate systems and records and explain legislative requirements in simple, practical terms.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an educational or independent school setting.
2. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and discretion.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Knowledge of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices is advantageous.
5. CIPD qualification preferred.
6. Competent ICT skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
