We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
1. Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
2. Answer incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
3. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
4. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
5. Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
6. Assist with administrative tasks using Google Suite and QuickBooks as needed.
7. Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
8. Respond to emails and other correspondence in a timely manner.
9. Support other departments with various office tasks as required.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
3. Proficient in using computerised systems, including Google Suite and QuickBooks.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
6. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy office environment.
8. Familiarity with clerical duties and office procedures is advantageous.
