About the role
Reporting to the Applications Manager this role is responsible for the design and development of Activ’s data governance framework, integration platforms, and integrations coding, ensuring the integrations are robust, reliable, easy to decipher and are well documented.
A typical day in the role may look like……
* Designing and coding the integration platforms to operate efficiently and effectively
* Document specifications after gathering requirements, provide testing, training and handover documentation
* Maintain a knowledgebase of system issues and responses/solutions / improvement
* Contribute to the resolution and documentation of incidents
* Provide second level support to end users for related queries and incidents ensuring they are recorded and maintained in the incident management system
* Work with third party service providers on fault escalation and resolution
* Establish and maintain relationships with peak bodies, professional associations and/or sources of professional advice and support; and
The ideal candidate will have: -
* A minimum of two years' experience in a small/medium/large organisation in a developer and/or integration role with exposure to supporting applications and data
* Knowledge and exposure to an integration's platform is desirable
* Previous client and stakeholder management experience
* Experience operating service desk software management tools is desirable
* Tertiary qualifications in information systems, business, management, statistics or related discipline
