Paint Technician
Location: Mercedes Benz Of Blackpool
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The role
As a skilled Paint technician, you will join a team of experts supporting one of our popular brands in our state-of-the-art facilities. Full manufacturer training is provided so there is no need to have specific brand experience. You can expect regular manufacturer specific training to keep you up to date with the latest technology through both manufacturer training and our Marshall Academy.
Who you are
1. Previous experience as a Paint Technician with technical expertise with quality and pace in mind.
2. A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
3. A qualified Paint Technician with an industry recognised qualification, level 3 (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
4. Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
What you’ll do
5. Prepare, Spray and finish vehicles to an exemplary high standard in line with internal and customer requirements
6. Ensure correct colour matching on all assigned tasks
7. Ensure all Paint works are completed in an efficient manner in line with the daily schedule
8. Accurately and skilfully undertake cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles
9. Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines
10. Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details.
11. Ad-hoc duties as required
12. Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance.
13. Detect and report any additional faults for further repair
