What you will do:
1. Direct the day-to-day running of our clinical team, ensuring smooth operations throughout the practice
2. Provide guidance and support to our nurse and VCA team, helping them develop their skills and careers
3. Engage in hands-on nursing care, from patient care and administering medication to monitoring anaesthesia
4. Act as a role model for the team, optimising workflow and maintaining high standards of animal care
5. Foster a positive and supportive environment for both our team and our furry patients
Requirements of the Registered Veterinary Nurse:
1. Must hold a relevant qualification in veterinary nursing, such as a Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing
2. Must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or an equivalent governing body
3. Relevant clinical experience in a veterinary practice or hospital is essential
4. Proficiency in general nursing duties, including patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia
5. Experience handling various animal species, whether small animals, exotics, or large animals
6. Strong general nursing skills with excellent customer service
