As a Trainee Lifeguard in our Whitchurch Swimming and Fitness Centre team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all pool users while developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified Lifeguard. Through hands-on experience and training, you’ll contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for the entire community. You’ll be entrusted to: • Learn the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre and gain an understanding of the Lifeguard role. • Complete lifeguard training and successfully qualify as a fully certified Lifeguard. • Ensure the safety of all pool users, maintaining a vigilant and proactive approach to supervision. • Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors of all ages and backgrounds with their needs. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the pool area and ensure the safe handling and set-up of equipment. • Work collaboratively with a close-knit team to create an inclusive and welcoming leisure environment.
