The LSAB is seeking applications from individuals with both the passion and commitment for safeguarding the most vulnerable members of society. This role requires an individual with proven experience to be responsible for processing work for the Adults Safeguarding Board so that the functions of those areas are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales according to defined procedures. Responsibilities include:
* Minute taking, the production and distribution of documents, and correspondence.
* Handling sensitive data and information.
* Organisation and servicing of meetings and events.

You will have:
* NVQ level in business administration or equivalent.
* Experience of minute taking and servicing complex meetings (Essential).
* Proven communication skills between organisations and individuals.
* Experience using computer systems (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Liquid Logic) and databases.
* Ability to function efficiently and professionally in a busy office environment in accordance with the Council’s policies and procedures.
* Ability to work independently with confidence and discretion.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, through face-to-face, telephone contact, and emails.
* Understanding the importance of confidentiality and applying this to the area of work.
