An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Home Manager with 2 years' experience to join a well-established residential children's home for individuals aged 8 to 17. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary Up to £80,000.
As a Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the opening of two residential children's homes and implementing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing referrals and ensuring the provision meets Ofsted standards.
2. Supporting and developing the team to maintain a high standard of care.
3. Ensuring all administrative tasks, including record-keeping and compliance documentation, are completed accurately.
4. Liaising with external agencies and fostering relationships with the local community.
5. Creating and maintaining a positive, supportive, and child-centred environment.
6. Conducting quality assurance inspections to maintain best practices.
7. Managing budgets effectively to ensure efficient service delivery.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as a Registered Manager, Home Manager, Care Manager, Children's Home Manager or in a similar role.
2. At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager within an OFSTED residential children's home.
3. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Social Care Management).
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor a team.
5. A valid driving licence would be preferred.
6. Enhanced DBS check.
