Learning Support Assistant
Must be a STRONG DRIVER and have your own vehicle
Are you passionate about supporting students with complex needs and allowing them to obtain qualifications whilst completing their hobbies?
Would you be open to taking students on day trips to Thorpe Park, Colchester Zoo, and other interesting and enjoyable activities, all paid for you?
Empowering Learning is currently working with a unique client that supports young adults with complex needs to ensure that their quality of life is improved, allowing the students to obtain qualifications while engaging in their hobbies and interests. This is not your usual 08:30 - 15:30 school job. This is a wonderful position that is very rare to find in an education setting, and you will be working with a supportive team throughout every step of the way.
The client operates as an outreach provision, delivering programs in a wide range of settings, including students' homes, work placements, local colleges, social activities, or leisure-based settings. All programs are designed to identify and prompt meaningful skills management and development for supporting individuals' vocational pathways.
