Due to expanding the team, we are looking for an experienced or more recently qualified Small Animal Vet – Ashfield Veterinary Surgery, Annfield Plain, County Durham.
Part-Time over 3 days / Salary of up to £67k DOE FTE dependant on experience + Benefits / Relocation Package available for those moving to the area / Visa sponsorship (must be eligible to register with RCVS)
We are based in a beautiful rural county within 6 miles from historic Durham City and 15 miles (or 15 mins on the train) from the bright lights of Newcastle upon Tyne. Stunning countryside is on the doorstep with the Durham dales and Durham coastline both within easy reach.
We are a very well-established practice with many loyal clients. Nearly 2 years ago we moved to the current purpose-built premises which has been a huge success for both clients and staff.

We are looking for a part-time veterinary surgeon with good all-round GP experience, but would consider a recent graduate. You will be joining a small and supportive team, who are passionate about high clinical standards and contextualized care for their patients.
We are an experienced team of 4 Vets (over 40 years of experience), 6 RVNs (total of almost 30 years of experience), PCA, SVN, Reception, and Practice Manager supporting us on a daily basis.
Teamwork is important to us - We discuss cases frequently to ensure we get the best outcome for the patient. We are a very friendly, caring and well-organized practice.
This is a Part-time position. The working hours would be based on 3 working days, and we are open to all requests for different working patterns. It's 1 in 4 Saturdays (9 am-12.30 pm) with no on-call duties or bank holidays to work, giving you a great work-life balance.
