At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.
We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That’s why we’re looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.
As part of Cancer Research UK’s Retail & Ecommerce Growth Strategy, we opened our first Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in 2023, and are proud to now have four distribution hubs and online marketplaces across the UK.
We’re looking for an Online Marketplace Assistant to join Cancer Research UK’s Online Marketplace team in the Romford Online Marketplace Hub and Centre of Excellence. Our Online Marketplace Team sort, identify, value, photograph, and list items for sale on our online marketplace platforms (e.g., eBay, Depop, Vestiaire and ASOS).
As an Online Marketplace Assistant, you’ll be trained on all parts of the process; however, this role will be focusing on Photography. You will be photographing pre-loved items and working in our depot unpacking boxes and organising stock.
This will be an interesting and active role as part of a supportive and diverse team where you’ll discover something new every day, whether it’s a new treasure, a new camera angle or a talent you never knew you had. This is an opportunity to work in your local area for one of the UK’s most trusted brands as part of a collaborative team while handling a variety of pre-loved and both low and high-value fashion and textile items.
