The ideal candidate for the Sports Coach role will have a strong background in coaching, sports, or physical education, and a passion for helping students develop both their athletic abilities and personal growth. Key Responsibilities of the Sports Coach: Deliver engaging and effective coaching sessions across a variety of sports to students at different levels. Develop and implement training plans to help students improve their skills and achieve their personal best. Organise and oversee school sporting events, matches, and competitions. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development through sport. Monitor and assess student's progress, providing feedback and support. Work closely with teachers to promote the physical education curriculum and integrate coaching into academic learning. Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students can participate and feel motivated. Actively contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and activities. Promote the importance of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Key Skills and Qualifications: Experience in coaching or sports training, preferably in a school or educational setting. Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and coaching techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for sport and a commitment to supporting students in achieving their goals. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to inspire and motivate students to participate in sports, regardless of ability. A relevant coaching qualification or sports-related qualification is desirable.
