Job Description
* You will be given full and ongoing training in the role and will be fully supported throughout your working day by a dedicated service centre.
* You will be working on a long-term self-employed basis.
* Day-to-day duties include installing broadband and TV services, resolving broadband faults, and optimizing speed in our customers' premises on behalf of our clients, which include TalkTalk and BT.
* The successful candidate will have an interest in Telecoms, broadband, or IT.
* You will undertake shifts on a rotational basis with the option of flexible working.
* In this field-based position, you will be driving from one job to another, providing the above services with a keen focus on customer service.
* Our client is running a training course for this Telecoms Field Engineer / Broadband Field Engineer / IT Field Engineer position, which will last for two weeks.
* Previous experience within the Telecoms Field, Broadband Field, or IT Field would be beneficial; however, an interest in either IT, Telecoms, or broadband would be sufficient.
Key Responsibilities
* You need to have a full UK driver’s license with no more than 6 points and have held this for at least two years.
* You must be friendly, customer-focused, and have a desire to resolve customer issues.
* You must be interested in IT, broadband, telephony, and digital TV technology.
