Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Swansea for a Youth Support Worker. The Youth Support Worker will engage in daily tasks including providing support and mentorship for young people, assisting with life skills development, and liaising with local authorities and support agencies. Responsibilities also include facilitating access to education and employment opportunities, helping individuals transition to independent living, and ensuring a safe, stable environment.
Qualifications
* Youth Work, Youth Services, and Youth Mentoring skills
* Social Work experience and expertise
* Strong Communication skills
* Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with young people
* Experience working with vulnerable populations is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Youth Work, or a related field
* Ability to handle and resolve conflicts
