Job Advert: Employment Solicitor

We at Simpson Judge are currently working with a global top tier law firm who are looking to bring in an associate/senior associate Employment solicitor. This role will involve working with a varied set of clients, including local and national enterprises as well as global corporations, emphasising business transformation initiatives, corporate transactions, and employment-related legal disputes.
The Role:
1. Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters.
2. Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
3. Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and mediations.
4. Working with colleagues based in their international offices on cross-border issues.
5. Providing strategic advice on complex employment issues, including restructuring, redundancy, and senior workplace disputes (discrimination and whistleblowing).
6. Collaborating with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
7. Engaging in business development and networking to enhance client relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm.
8. Assisting clients in providing solutions in M&A (corporate advisory).
About You:
1. Qualified Solicitor with 2-8 years of post-qualification experience in employment law (desirable).
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience in a range of employment matters.
3. Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly.
4. A proactive and client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence.
