The Devon Moors Federation is an established eight school federation which consists of Clyst Hydon, Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Lympstone C of E, Shute, Spreyton & Upottery Primary Schools. We are also part of the United Learning Partnership Co-operative Trust.
Lympstone C of E Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and committed teacher in EYFS.
We set high standards at Lympstone and expect the best from our teachers and children. Our school was graded Good in April 2022 with Outstanding in Early Years. We have been a champion training school for Little Wandle phonics and have a high level of expectation in phonics delivery and rapid catch up. We have a diverse catchment with high levels of SEND, our classes are made up of a wide range of need and of academic ability. We also have a high number of Forces children due to our locality. We are looking for someone who can meet the needs of all of our learners through careful planning and differentiation, challenge and stretch activities and quality first teaching. You must have a relational approach and be able to demonstrate kindness and understanding whilst having firm and fair boundaries. You must have a proven record of excellent teaching experience, this could include teaching practices. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about education and children’s development. You will need to be willing to adapt your practice to the needs of the school and our learners and be willing to share your own strengths openly. We will expect you to drive forward the foundations of future learning in EYFS such as early reading, speech and language and social interaction/ development. We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with passion and knowledge in Computing and Continuous Provision, however this is not essential.
