JoinTeamEliot An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join this well-established Specialist Palliative Care Team here at George Eliot Hospital. The Palliative care team currently offers a 7-day Clinical Service between 8:30 and 16:30 on weekdays and 9:00 to 13:00 on weekends and bank holidays. There is an approximate 1:6 weekend requirement to participate in the 7-day Specialist Palliative Care Service for George Eliot Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for actively managing a clinical caseload of patients requiring specialist palliative care. This includes providing specialist advice, education and training, leadership and change management in pursuit of excellent palliative care. This will take place with the wider multidisciplinary team, working across the organisation to implement high quality holistic care. A key component of this post is to work collaboratively with others; providing leadership, education and training in specialist palliative care to enable the wider workforce to improve their skills.
