To be a Software Tester within the Mueller Software Development Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust and innovative software solutions in the field of intelligent water management systems. To contribute to the strategy of the team, meet the companys goals and objectives, and improve the quality of the service it delivers internally and externally. Key responsibilities
* Write well-structured test plans and scripts.
* Review and feedback on feature requirements.
* Create and maintain automated tests.
* Reproduce and report software issues.
* Produce professionally written documentation.
* Provide sensible estimates for work items and consistently deliver against them.
Team Contribution
* Help facilitate the smooth delivery of all projects, enhancements and support delivered by the team.
* Participate in the teams agile software development process.
* Regularly contribute to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements to ensure maximum efficiency across the team and i2O Water.
* Develop strong working relationships with other departments and customers.
* Be available out of hours if required to complete specific tasks and support customers. This is not a usual or regular occurrence.
Desired/Essential Attributes
As a Software Tester you are highly proficient in testing Web Application and Web API with strong experience in test automation.
* +5 years Test experience
* Automated and manual Web Application and Web API testing
* Test Plan and Test Script creation and maintenance.
* Defect reproduction and reporting.
* Strong knowledge of Test methodologies.
* Experience of Test tools and automation frameworks
* Git
