This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team of a fast growing international private tour operator in an executive capacity.
We are all about creating special experiences and memories for a high-end clientele as we build an exciting and innovative brand around the world.
You would be working in a small team, helping to facilitate private tours for high-end exclusive guests, visiting the UK, as well as New York, Paris, and other growing territories.
The first part of the role involves operations management, including answering customer emails, hotel concierge inquiries, facilitating tours, making suggestions, tailor-making itineraries, processing bookings, and ensuring the smooth and seamless operation of all tours each day.
You will also be required to assist with and research logistics, such as sourcing new contractors, guides, and drivers, researching potential new tours, and assisting in developing tours in other countries and markets. You will have plenty of opportunities to pitch ideas.
The role will allow a new candidate to become familiar with the operations of the company, learning the ins and outs and developing an understanding of how we maintain and enhance a renowned 5-star service to our clients around the world. There is potential for progression and growth within this fast-growing company, leading to management roles in strategic, corporate, or creative development. We are particularly interested in career-oriented and ambitious candidates.
About You:
* Minimum education requirement: University Degree
* This role would suit someone with energy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, who is looking to build a career with an exciting new company and provide fresh energy and creative ideas.
* Please be proficient and experienced with Microsoft Word, with a fast typing speed, and comfortable with computers and working online.
* Attention to detail, organisation, and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent writing skills - creative writing is a bonus.
* Great phone manner and confidence.
* Career-oriented.
This role is 5 days a week - Monday to Friday. However, in the peak season (March-August), it is 5 days a week with one day being either Saturday or Sunday. Outside of those months, every second week would require a weekend day (with a Friday or Monday off in lieu). We operate a hybrid work-from-home/in-office system - typically with three days a week in the office and two days at home. Weekend days are also generally work from home, although you may use the office if you wish.
We work hard and enjoy a good social office experience with dinners, theatre outings, and good times. We have a large and very friendly company dog who is our office manager - so liking dogs is a bonus.
Please send us your CV and ideally a cover letter if you think this job is something that appeals.
