The People Services Transformation Team is a key part of the Cultural Transformation Teams within the People Directorate of the Humber & North Yorkshire ICB. We lead on crucial workforce initiatives, working across the wider Humber and North Yorkshire system to drive efficiencies and address collective workforce challenges.
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our team by providing essential project coordination and administrative services. Your contributions will help us deliver innovative solutions and foster strong connections across our system.
Main duties of the job
1. Project Management: Support the team in managing and leading projects using defined project management principles.
2. Progress Monitoring: Facilitate and monitor the progress of defined projects.
3. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure timely sharing of information and updates.
4. Meeting Participation: Attend project meetings, take minutes, and track actions, risks, and issues.
5. Documentation Support: Assist in developing business cases, project initiation documents, and presentations.
6. SharePoint Management: Oversee the People Services Transformation Team SharePoint site, ensuring appropriate access and information governance standards.
7. Collaboration: Work with partners and stakeholders to support system-wide delivery and foster a culture of care, connection, and innovation.

NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning and arranging the provision of NHS services to meet the diverse health needs of a population of 1.7 million people. Job responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the People Services Transformation Team for a Project Support Officer. The People Services Transformation Team is one of the Cultural Transformation Teams within the People Directorate of the Humber & North Yorkshire ICB. The People Services Transformation Team leads on key workforce initiatives, working across the wider Humber and North Yorkshire system to enable efficiencies in ways of working to ensure that we meet the collective workforce challenges.
The postholder will contribute to the smooth running of the People Services Transformation Team by providing project coordination and administrative services.
The role offers a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to, supporting the development of services, assisting with the delivery and planning of current and new projects, organising meetings, supporting events/workshops, and updating project reports, data collection, and feedback collation.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Knowledge across a range of PMO procedures, underpinned by theory.
* Knowledge of specific area, acquired through degree or equivalent experience or training.
* CiPD Level 5 or equivalent experience working within an HR function.
Experience
* Project management including the creation of project plans, documentation, and stakeholder meetings.
* Experience of creating business cases and formal business reports.
* Conducting formal presentations to large groups.
* Ability to create plans, monitor and adjust plans as needed to deliver against project plans.
* Experience of designing and delivering training in own subject to others.
* Ability to create and deliver bespoke surveys, analyse, and publish findings.
* Experience of undertaking audits, evaluate and publish findings.
* Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Skills and Competencies
