Full-Time History Teacher – Secondary School A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Farnborough, Hampshire on a permanent basis. The position offers a competitive salary and is set to commence in Easter (April 2025) About the role: This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Careers Teachers (ECTs), offering an excellent opportunity to develop or advance your teaching career. Starting at Easter (April 2025), the successful candidate will inspire and engage students through high-quality History lessons while contributing to the wider school community. Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For: Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and 4. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that align with the curriculum. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Contribute to the planning and development of the History department’s schemes of work. Actively engage in the wider school community and extracurricular activities. The Successful Candidate Will: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in History or a related subject. Strong knowledge and passion for History, particularly at GCSE level. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
