Job Description Job Title - Production Manager Salary - CIRCA Location - Winbledon, South London Reporting to - Account Manager Perm/Contract (If Needed) - Contract Length of Contract - Initial contract until the end of January with potential for extension/ full time position Role Summary - We are working with a leading live events agency based in South London, specializing in delivering unforgettable stage shows, immersive brand activations, and high-impact live experiences. Our portfolio includes major corporate events, festivals, and bespoke productions. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager to join our dynamic team and help us continue delivering exceptional events. Responsibilities: Project Management : Lead the end-to-end production of live events, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to client satisfaction. On-site Production : Coordinate all on-site activities, including stage setup, equipment loading/unloading, and crew management. Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that arise. Warehouse Oversight : Manage organization and maintenance of equipment in the warehouse. Coordinate equipment logistics for each event and ensure it is returned in optimal condition. Team Leadership : Supervise production staff, freelancers, and technical crews, both on-site and remotely. Foster strong collaboration and maintain clear communication among the team. Vendor & Supplier Coordination : Establish and manage relationships with suppliers, securing necessary equipment and materials. Negotiate rates and timelines to ensure efficient logistics. Budget & Resource Management : Track production expenses, manage project budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Client Liaison : Act as a primary point of contact for clients during production, providing regular updates and addressing their needs in real-time. Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure all productions comply with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate safety measures. Technical Support & IT : Utilize your IT skills to manage event technology, AV equipment, and production software effectively, ensuring seamless operations on-site and during remote planning. Experience/Skills: Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in live event production, with a proven track record of managing stage shows, corporate events, or festivals. Warehouse Management : Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management, equipment handling, and logistics. Technical Proficiency : Proficient with IT and event technology, including production scheduling software, AV equipment, and other relevant digital tools. Leadership & Communication : Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team collaboration. Problem-Solving Skills : Proactive, resourceful, and able to think on your feet to solve issues swiftly in high-pressure environments. Flexibility : Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Health & Safety Awareness : Solid understanding of health and safety requirements in the live events industry, with experience conducting risk assessments.
